RIDE ON to a safer region

OVERVIEW

Since 1963, billions of dollars have directly and indirectly been invested in our communities as the result of the services Metro Transit has long provided. But what’s riding on our system at any given moment remains even more valuable — the hopes and dreams of everyone who count on us. That’s why we’re so excited about making the biggest security upgrade in our history.

HIGH TECH, HIGH SECURITY. The SPP combines real-time closed-circuit monitoring using over 1,800 cameras, new ticketing technology, upgraded fences and lighting, steel barrier turnstile gates, plus added safety personnel.
